Accounting for Non-Accountants

Program Background:

This one-day learning program is specifically designed for non-accountants who are in need of practical, day-to-day accounting knowledge and skills needed to understand and interpret accounting reports that are being used in making effective business decisions.

Formal records of a business’ financial activities and position provide vital information about a business’ financial health. It must be presented in a structured manner and in a form that is easy to understand. These financial reports serves as a tool that offers benchmarks and feedback that help the business determine its overall direction and making strategic decisions regarding expansion, financing and marketing.

This seminar will equip participants with the right knowledge and skill sets for them to perceive the full particulars of both financial and management sides of a business.

 

At the end of the session, you will be able to:

  • To obtain a full understanding of the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles including the basic Accounting terms, Accounting process and Financial Statements.
  • To be able to comprehend and analyze the 4 Financial Statements (Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Cash Flow Statement, and Statement of Changes in Equity) through special ratios and measurements.
  • To know how to apply Financial Information in real-life decision making from a Financial and Managerial stand point.
