Professionalizing Your Communication Skills
Writing in a clear and professional style is essential to any business. Most professionals spend at least 15-20% of their time writing business emails, memos, letters, reports and other correspondence.
This learning program aims to improve the business writing skills of participants through the review of English grammar rules and tenses, discussion of common concerns or errors in English communication, the planning steps in writing, and the principles of effective writing, including its guidelines.
The program will also significantly help improve the participants’ ability to write in English, so that the intended readers will receive a clear, concise and effective message. Improved business communication skills will help increase one’s productivity, success and job satisfaction. Participants will learn reader-centered wording, strategies for clear, positive and complete, and logical organization of their material.
At the end of the session, the participants would have:
• Learned to write effective business letters, memos, reports, etc.
• Understood the difference of writing for business
• Improved overall business communication
• Improved or refreshed their knowledge and writing skills for an immediate job application
