The conduct of team building session is usually assigned to HR people and other employees who have training experience.
Sessions have different objectives or purposes why they are conducted, such as having a time out from work, resolving conflict, forming a new team, bonding with members, or any combination.
However, many sessions are done haphazardly and fail to accomplish the objectives for which the Team Building Workshop session was organized. Common reasons being the lack of facilitator knowledge/skills, faulty setting of objectives, design and/ or delivery.
This one-day session will combine training the trainers program with how to conduct team building sessions, a two-in-one package.
At the end of the session, the participants would:
- Gain an overview of what a team building session requires, the ADDIE method of training which includes training needs analysis, design and preparation, delivery and evaluation
- Learn about core concepts related to teams
- Learn about training tools, tips, and techniques for effective team building facilitation
